Put into words what helps you feel safe and settled after intense play. Share it with a partner before you play, print it as a full page or carry it as a small wallet card.
Aftercare is the care you give each other after a scene or any intense moment: water, warmth, closeness, kind words, or simply some quiet. What helps is different for everyone, and right after play is not the easiest moment to explain it.
When you write it down in advance, your partner does not have to guess. You can talk it through during your negotiation, keep it in your bag and hand it over when words are hard. It also reminds you of what helps if drop shows up a day or two later.
Your partner knows what to offer and what to leave out, without guessing.
A card in your bag speaks for you when you feel tired, foggy or tender.
Drop can come later. A follow-up plan keeps you connected until it passes.
Tick what usually helps your body and mind, and add your own words. Everything is optional.
Note how drop shows up for you, what helps then and how you would like to be checked on in the days after.
An emergency contact and medical notes are optional. Only add what you are comfortable carrying.
Print a full page, a foldable wallet card or save it as a PDF. Or copy the text and send it to your partner.

Aftercare is the time and care after a scene or intense play: checking in, water, warmth, closeness or quiet, and talking about how it went. It helps both partners come back from strong feelings and sensations. Tops and dominant partners need aftercare too.
Drop is a low mood, tiredness or emotional wobble that can come hours or days after intense play, when the body's stress hormones settle. It is common and it passes. Knowing your signs and having a plan makes it easier to get through.
Only in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent to Consation. If you clear your browser data or use a private window, the draft is gone, so print it or copy the text if you want to keep it.
Choose "Print wallet card" and print at 100% scale. Cut along the dashed line, fold in the middle and you have a two-sided card the size of a bank card. In the print dialog you can also choose "Save as PDF".
It can be a good start for the conversation before you play. Share what feels right. Your card is about your needs; your partner may have their own.
